David Shave, CFP®, ChSNC®

After graduating from Muhlenberg College in 1990, David’s entrance into the financial services industry came when he joined his family’s IMO. During his seven years as Brokerage Manager, David successfully grew sales by broadening the company’s advisor base.

In 1997, he founded SFG Annuity Advisors with a new vision of concentrating on fixed annuities. David’s foresight to specialize proved to be a valuable asset, missing in the mature marketplace.

Having watched his mother, Kathleen, work as a Certified Financial Planner, David expanded his horizons and holds the respected CFP designation.

Today, David has a thriving retail practice, but continues to guide and shape SFG’s vision, just as he did in 1997.

David and his wife Lori share five children. Since a young age, Dave has been an avid
outdoorsman and has more recently become a passionate farmer.
