In the late 1980s, when long-term care insurance was still emerging, George started educating advisors about the industry while building a successful LTCI division within his family’s IMO.
In 1994, George moved to California to join Long Term Care Group, Inc., where he leveraged his marketing expertise to assist insurance companies and their sales teams in growing the group LTCI market.
In 1999, George joined his brother David at SFG Annuity Advisors, where he began teaching advisors how annuities could be utilized in financial planning. During this time, George played a key role in helping the California Department of Insurance establish the nation’s first mandatory annuity-training curriculum, with his course becoming the state’s first approved 8-hour training.
Today, with 38 years of experience, George leads SFG’s vision, overseeing daily operations and helping his team meet their goals.
George married his wife, Janeen, in 2003 and they have four children. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, including fly fishing and upland bird hunting with his dog, River.
